We designed a railway carriage that simulates the experience of traveling on a Victorian-era train, complete with the gentle rocking motion that would have been felt during the 19th century. The carriage is designed to transport visitors back in time, offering them a tactile and sensory experience of what train travel might have been like in the era of steam and industrial innovation.
To further engage visitors, we’ve added a unique challenge: while being buffeted by the movement of the carriage, you are invited to attempt drawing a perfect circle—just as the legendary engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel could do. This activity not only pays tribute to Brunel’s precision and skill, but also encourages visitors to test their own focus and dexterity, providing a fun and thought-provoking connection to the engineering feats of the past. The combination of authentic train experience and the challenge of drawing a perfect circle highlights the balance between the thrill of history and the skill of Victorian engineering.
