We meticulously recreated an old World War pilot training simulator, offering visitors a rare glimpse into the early methods used to train military aviators. Unlike modern flight simulators, this vintage device was more akin to a simple wicker basket than the sophisticated technology we know today. The original design was a rudimentary but effective tool, consisting of a basket-like structure that would hold the trainee in place while they practiced basic flight manoeuvres. Through this hands-on exhibit, visitors can step into the past and gain a deeper appreciation for the challenges faced by pilots during the World War.
